EXTRAIT N°1015 CORSE

charnel-default

GRAPE VARIETIES : Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan, Grenache. The maturity, acidity and quality of each grape variety determine the exact makeup of the final combination. The dominant Mourvèdre is obvious
for delicate tannins. It has a potential for long aging.

WINE MAKING : Pre-fermentation through soaking at a medium temperature.Careful temperature control and the most natural regulation possible thanks to 60 cm thick cut stone walls. Long fermentation
of skins and vinification in 4 hl barrels for one part. A subtle and delicate collection of 1 and 2 years old barrels. Barrels of oak mainly from the Forêt de Tronçais toasted traditionally for a medium-long period of time.

TASTING : Nose of truffle, cocoa and black current. A rare “Corsé” and delicate wine.
